Exploring Seattle with Family

One of the best things about my trip to Seattle was getting to see family. For example, I got to see my one tita and cousin who I haven’t seen in 12 years. Mid-trip, my tita and cousin met us up in Seattle. Once they arrived, we explored Seattle once again.

We started in Pike Place, where I finally got to taste the famous Beecher’s grilled cheese – which is SO DELICIOUS by the way.

After walking around Pike Place, we went to the well-known Gum Wall. Of course, we tried taking colorful artsy photos.

We tried killing time a bit and walked around some more before heading over to the Space Needle.

We finally made our way to the Space Needle. This was a must-do for my trip to Seattle. Last time I was at Seattle, I wanted to do this but didn’t get a chance to. So this was my chance! I would say for the money, I don’t think it was worth it.

It’s time ticketing, which is great to manage the crowds on busy days. We rode up the elevator, which brought us to the very top. The views were absolutely gorgeous, but I don’t think it was worth the money for the amount of time spent there. It only took us about an hour to walk around the whole thing and take pictures. I didn’t research much on it to see what the estimated time spent here was, but it was a lot shorter than I was expecting.

All in all, it was a great time spending time and laughing with family I haven’t seen in a while. Family is everything.
