My parents and I headed to the Finger Lakes for the weekend for my dads birthday. On the way to Keuka Lake, we decided to stop by Watkins Glen, as it was highly recommended. And boy were they right!
Watkins Glen is a beautiful trail. It’s a good hike for beginners with amazing views of various waterfalls throughout the trail. If you’re like me, everywhere is basically a picturesque spot. I probably stopped every inch to take a photo. Luckily, it was sort of a rainy day so it wasn’t too hot, it was nice and cool, perfect!
I give this trail an 8/10 only because I like a little challenge and the most challenging part was walking up many steep stairs.

Where are you by? I’m sure you have towns like this near you. This was actually 5 hours away from me, but I normally take a long weekend when I go this far. Totally worth it though!

I went to Watkins Glen a couple years ago! It was just as beautiful then. And THOSE STAIRS. My glutes gained some serious muscle after that!
