You may be thinking “Birthday party for a 27 year old? You’re too old for one!”. I’m going to answer with, we should all celebrate our birthdays! My birthday is on July 3, the day before Independence Day. Every other year, my family is either on vacation, about to go on vacation or just celebrating the fourth of July. We don’t really get to celebrate my birthday since it’s right near the holiday and it’s the summer. Also, most families go on vacation or are down the shore during that time to gather everyone together.
Since July 4th fell on a Wednesday this year, it was either now or never to finally have a birthday party. So my parents decided to throw me and one of my good friends one (since we’re only 9 days apart).
The party was so much fun! I loved having my family and friends all in one place just hanging out, laughing, eating good food and drinking. I couldn’t ask for more.
With my birthday week being over, I wanted to take time to thank people.
- Thank you to everyone who wished me happy birthday. It really added to my special day. I appreciate every single one of you!
- Thank you to everyone who came out to the party on Saturday. I truly had a great time with each and every one of you and I hope you did too.
- Thank you to Partyfufu for the unicorn happy birthday decoration set. It was perfect and absolutely added to the party. Everything was so cute! One of my young family friends was in love with the unicorn balloons. If you’re throwing a party, ya’ll definitely need to add these decorations.
- Last, but definitely not least, I want to thank my parents. This party would not of happened without you. Thank you for cooking, decorating and getting the party ready. I truly appreciate everything that you did.
